I helped build a FHIR-compliant medication-management application connecting patients and physicians through secure, synchronized workflows.
Expanded technical stack
Overview
Our team designed MedSignal to combine patient adherence tools, physician-facing medication oversight, and standardized health-data exchange.
My contribution
I integrated prescription scanning with vision models, geolocation pharmacy lookup, and QR-based patient and physician linking. I also implemented JWT authentication, encrypted storage, end-to-end Medplum/FHIR synchronization, medication reminders, adherence dashboards, and a workflow chatbot.
Challenge
We wanted to reduce the friction between prescription intake, medication reminders, adherence tracking, and physician oversight.
Technical approach
Our team combined mobile workflows with FHIR data exchange, secure authentication and storage, vision-assisted prescription intake, pharmacy lookup, and QR-based account linking.
Result / outcome
We completed the HackGT 12 prototype and published both the project overview and source code for review.
